Your files stay under your control
200 OK Web Server runs on your device. It does not require an account, upload your selected files to us, or include advertising or analytics SDKs.

What the app stores
The app stores its settings and a system-provided bookmark for the folder you select. This information remains on your device so the app can restore your configuration. You can change the selected folder, change the settings, or remove the app and its local data at any time.
How local serving works
When you turn the server on, the app reads the folder you selected and responds directly to HTTP requests. Local network access is off by default. If you enable it, devices on the same network can request files through the displayed address while the app remains open.
Serving uses plain, unencrypted HTTP. Anyone who can reach the address while local network access is enabled may be able to read the selected files, so select a folder intended for sharing and use a trusted network. Moving the iOS app to the background stops the server.
Data collection
The app does not send us your files, selected folder, settings, browsing requests, local network addresses, or usage activity. It has no developer-operated backend, account system, advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics SDK.
System features and other services
Folder selection uses Apple's Files interface. Copy, Share, and the in-app preview use system interfaces and act only when you choose them. Information you send to another app, service, or person through a system share action is governed by that destination.
This privacy page is hosted through GitHub Pages and uses Google Fonts. Visiting the website sends ordinary web request information, such as an IP address and browser headers, to those hosting providers under their own privacy terms. The installed 200 OK app does not load this website or Google Fonts during normal use.
Support
If you choose to contact us, we receive only the information you include in your support request and use it to understand and respond to that request. The current feedback route uses the project's public GitHub Issues page, so do not post private files, addresses, or other sensitive information there.
